Marketing Week 2025: Creating Impact with Intention ~

Marketing Week fosters a sense of support and community among our members by hosting events and speakers that represented all five of our divisions: Retail, Digital Marketing & Advertising, Sports, Analytics, and Sales. By curating each day that aligned with those areas of interest, we ensured every member felt included and valued. After each speaker series, we incorporated interactive activities designed to help members connect and collaborate with peers they might not usually engage with. To further encourage participation, we hosted in-person viewing events with giveaway incentives that brought even more students together. The positive feedback we received, especially comments about members feeling seen, valued, and excited to meet new people, affirmed that our approach successfully strengthened our community and created a more inclusive environment.

Division Director Panel

Members attended a panel with five division directors who shared insights on leadership, role expectations, and creative project strategies. The session encouraged younger members to explore leadership opportunities and consider applying for director roles in the upcoming year. It also gave attendees a clearer understanding of how each division contributes to the organization’s overall success.

Sales-Ethics

Members participated in a 25-question Kahoot quiz focused on ethical dilemmas commonly faced in sales. Designed to foster friendly competition, the activity connected classroom sales concepts with real-world decision-making. Through engaging scenarios, members discovered how ethical selling supports purpose-driven marketing and builds long-term trust.

Sports Merchandise Competition

Teams developed sustainable sports merchandise concepts inspired by their favorite teams, exploring how athletics can drive positive change. By focusing on social impact and community engagement, members presented creative ideas for how sports organizations can give back and promote sustainability beyond the game.
