Who We Are

The Penn State American Marketing Association is one of the largest student-run organizations on campus with the goal to bridge the gap of the classroom and the working world. As a premier Smeal College of Business organization and a recognized collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association, we provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore the many facets of marketing and business strategy.

Through dynamic programming—including conferences, real-world projects, case competitions, and professional development workshops—PSAMA empowers members to gain practical experience, sharpen their skills, and build lasting connections with industry professionals. Whether you're interested in digital marketing, retail, analytics, sports marketing, or sales, PSAMA offers a collaborative environment to learn, lead, and grow.

Get the Edge isn’t just our theme this year; it’s our promise. In a job market that’s evolving by the week, and in an industry that’s been reshaped by AI, PSAMA is dedicating this year to helping our members rise above the noise. Every one of our speakers, workshops, and conferences has been intentionally designed to give our members the skills, confidence, and strategic mindset that set real marketers apart from the rest.
