Consulting & Analytics Division
Project 2:
Philipsburg Tourism Consultation & Analysis
2026-2027 Projects
-
Division members will work as consultants for the town of Philipsburg, PA. Their goal is to increase tourism, encouraging people to visit the town for all it has to offer. Projects typically take place in groups of 5-6 students, ranging from freshman to senior class level.
-
This project challenges members to collaborate across class levels and apply data analysis techniques to real-world business scenarios. Working in teams, students will understand what it is like to delegate ideas and strategies towards real-world scenarios, displaying what real-world impact is like. The project requires members to build a market development and penetration plan, conduct a small case study around other benchmark towns, generate a SWOT analysis, and follow a final strategic approach rather than smaller deliverables.
-
This project will:
Strengthen members’ skills in sales data analysis and revenue interpretation.
Foster cross-level collaboration and knowledge sharing among students.
Develop proficiency with data tools and marketing analytics techniques.
Enhance the ability to translate data insights into strategic marketing recommendations.
Prepare members for careers that require critical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
